Boo Boo, you've got a hell of a lot of posts to not know what a nandroid backup is and how to make one. I'm sorry to tell you, but you are now a proud owner of an Evo 3g!! There are many in your group and there is no fix unless you had previously backed up your wimax.img. Sprint is getting wise to this situation and if you bring it into a Sprint store they will check to see if your rooted and yes, a good tech can tell even if you unroot your phone first. If you have TEP you can always smash your Evo or claim it as a loss and pay the $100 to Assurion and get a replacement but that would be fraud and you have to decide if that is morally right. Good luck.

what you mean unrevoked breaks things irrovocably? i'm sure there out diligently trying to fix it.

Unrevoked didn't bork her RSA keys. I used unrevoked when I rooted 6 months ago and I still have mine. Her keys got screwed when she started flashing roms and radios with out making a nandroid backup along the way. Clockworkmod recovery didn't even backup the wimax.img until it's latest releases that just came out last month, thats way I switched Aman RA recovery a long time ago.

Most commonly RSA keys are lost by a bad radio install or interrupting the radio install before it finished by pulling the battery before it finishes.

all i cared about was wifi tether. I go to a store tomorrow. if i just unrevoke the new one will that still mess up my wimax?

never tried to do a nand. but if backing up my wimax rsa i might do it. this would seem to be a flaw in the design to me

if you get 4g on its still good do the key check on the other one if its good do nand backup
