Trying to install Same app More than once (have 2 of them)

Anyone have success with this. id like to have two apps of the same ones for xyz reasons. maybe this might go better in a android ony forum but my phone is an evo so id like to do it.

is it possible to have the old app and the new app

to re name the old app and intall or tweek it to make it look different to the phone.
