Re: EVO Rooted! Now what?

So I am thinking of trying a custom rom. Is there a way I can backup my apps but get the cleanest wipe possible?

You could try Phone Weaver for your other issue. You can set up profiles for the car, work, etc. that can be triggered by a variety of things. You can set up sound profiles for each one, so in Car you could have no notifications.

Re: EVO Rooted! Now what?

Thanks for your help and patience. I think this is my last question. I've been backing up my phone like a freaky dancer. Is there a way I can delete an earlier backup? I am referring to the ones in recovery.

yeah just look for clockwork or nandroid folder on your sd card go in to the folder
backups will be listed by date just delete the ones you dont want

i would just save the one you did right after root you can also save them on your puter if your short on space

Re: EVO Rooted! Now what?

Is it possible to deodex a stock rom? If so, how do I go about it?

what's to regret? it's a pretty easy process, and if you used unrevoked you did fully root your phone it's just that you didn't put a custom rom on the phone, which is a good first step, now the most important thing is to boot into recovery and make a nandroid back-up so that if you do ever mess something up that you have something to boot back into and it will also back-up your rsa wimax keys which is very important. all i can say is to read more and watch some youtube videos and then when you feel comfortable continue on, it's not a race or anything so only do what you feel comfortable doing.
