Re: System Updates not working!
If I unroot and update can I get root back after updating? I have an older model EVO. I dotn think I have that new HBoot.I have hardware version 0003. How do I unroot? I used Unrevooked to Root and then I used Unrevoked Forever. Last edited by shaun0207; 01-24-2011 at 01:15 PM. |

Re: System Updates not working!
Are you using a custom rom? This could be a problem, as many custom roms have guts removed from them.
I read a similar post with people trying to use ##3282#, (EPST) and having trouble with custom roms, because the EPST.APK is missing from the rom. I would think the update features that you are referring to might be dependent upon that apk.

me either....
I just installed a custom kernel for the first time. I did the SD card hack, and hosed it. I really like my HTC clock! |

Re: System Updates not working!
For the kernels, make sure you are using a sense kernel not an aosp kernel. Also make sure you clear dalvik cache after flashing a kernel.
