Tell me about it when you get 10 times the speed and e everything is super fast then you bet i will be jumping...

so i found i was stuck in 1x as someone has said b4. I dont know if this is how they got out of it but if u do the steps from the first post, instead of going into advanced go into evdo, then one of the setting is going to be on cdma, if u change it to auto it will put u back into 3g. just commit the setting after u hit auto and phone will reboot itself

As we all know, HTC and Sprint borked downloads for apps like Rhapsody, Mog, Thumbplay.

I recently ran across the subject and i found a fix. It is very simple.

1. Get your MSL, There are many ways, call Sprint, Download the app MSL Reader from the market, CDMA workshop
2. After you have your MSL go to your phone and type ##3282#
3. Click Edit Mode
4. Click Advanced
5. Scroll down to HTTP PD Proxy Port & HTTP PD Proxy Address
6. Change HTTP PD Proxy Port to 0 (zero)
7. Change HTTP PD Proxy Address to 0.0.0.0
8. Go enjoy Downloads and a .20-.60 mbps increase in 3G speeds!

Hello everyone, Will this work on a evo running rooted Stock Gingerbread ROM
Or should I ask is the rooted Stock Gingerbread rom a Sense rom

I'm running a rom without sense (MIUI). And currently the 1.2.1 Gingerbread. Is there any way these roms can access the HTTP PD Proxy Port & HTTP PD Proxy Address?

If not, is it worth it to go to the other roms just to be able to speed up my 3g or increase my call quality?

Is it possible that the use of a different server LA vs Wichita made a difference? I would think that the LA servers would be more overloaded than the rest. I also notice it is at different times and days. Can we see some results taken around the same time, from the same server? (at least the same proximity?)

I still find that the only two places I get a reasonable speed are in Vegas (if away from the strip on 4G) and any NON-sprint server roaming on Verizon. I can see why people are tempted to do the Verizon roaming hack.
