Just an fyi, this is a recommended fix thats even posted on the Sirius website in their faq section. I would say if it would be causing problems they wouldn't post something that would cause issues. From what I understand, Sirius was advised by sprint to do this. Just wanted to share this tid bit of info.

Well regardless of that fact I had to hard reset after I did it.

Thats terrible but thats along the lines of what I get also. No matter which radio, PRI or Prl I use its always the same. Which is why im probably going to pay my ETF and leave Sprint.

Re: Faster 3G

Ok I had to revert back to OEM settings. I failed to test before hand but here are my result after testing 6 times and computing the avg using the fix, reverting back to stock, then stock after reboot (all speeds kbps):

Fix: 113.6 down, 29.8 up
Revert to stock: 176.3 down, 23.3 up
Stock after reboot: 264.6 down, 23.5 up

Yes my speed sucks I'm on the very edge of the DC area network... can step outside my house and get 1 bar 4G, soon as I step inside my 3g is nauseatingly slow!
