Question Today I flash my FIRST ROM...

I know there are many out there, I'd like suggestions if possible...I like all the stuff my stock sense rom (that came with phone) has, so maybe something similar?

Also,I performed a NAND backup as soon as I achieved S-OFF...so when I wipe my current ROM, what am I going to lose that I cannot replace, like text messages and voice mails?

Is there any ONE thing I should be very careful about when performing this...I rooted as per instructions on ROoting for DUmmies, and everything went perfect, I am hoping for the same here.....I thank everyone in advance for their help and advice!!!

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (Linux; U; Android 2.2; en-us; Sprint APA9292KT Build/FRF91) AppleWebKit/533.1 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0 Mobile Safari/533.1)

Before flashing a new rom, download mybackup from the market. It will back up your call history, sms, mms, etc... But, dont have it backup your contacts out calendar. Let google do that. So make sure all your contacts are in your gmail account.
From there try a few roms and see what you like. I like azreals roms, all the stock goodness with a few extras.
Enjoy

Re: Today I flash my FIRST ROM...

Your VM should be safe. You might have to actually dial into it to retrieve them though.

Re: Today I flash my FIRST ROM...

flashing is the easy part. Just do a NAND backup first or use titanium to back everything up
