Unhappy Screen problems/unresponsive

i went into sprint today and had them replace my screen. i noticed that the edges of the top of the phone was damaged but i chalked it up to it being a refurbished part. the screen is clear and undamaged so i did not complain. the problem is after getting home i noticed that several places on the screen are unresponsive. this makes it imposible to type, search and it wont even hang up a call or shut down. i considered doing a hard reset only im concerned that i will not be able to input my google information to set the phone back up. can anyone help? i tried to search the forum and was unable to find help. thanks.

I'm having a similar issue, but it's only for a 20-30 second period after I receive a text.

I would take it back and have them order you a completely different phone. I would never let them replace my screen. Repair centers don't have the right working conditions to be replacing such a sensitive item on a device.
