More sound profiles?

On my previous phones there were more options than Normal, Vibrate, and Silent. I was hoping someone could tell me how to create some more like "Work" or something else.

I'm a super heavy sleeper and in the past I always made work or outside profiles into overly loud and annoying ring/text tones so they'd wake me up if anyone needed to get a hold of me at night. Which happens a lot.

Also, about notifications is there a way to set it so that instead of just a flashing LED you can get the phone to audibly let you know occasionally you have a missed call/text?

That would be handy also, thanks.

there is an app on the Market called "WhoIsIt" that let's you tailor notifications. Might do what you want.

Re: More sound profiles?

Was able to make more profiles with tasker, though it is a pretty complicated ordeal

Re: More sound profiles?

In the end I uninstalled tasker it was using too much battery. If I wanted the complex stuff it would be worth having. Will try the sound manager app for a while
