Updating from HBoot .97 to 2.10

I've downloaded EVO_HBoot_2.10.0001. I am trying to decide if I should flash it. It is one thing to flash a bad Rom but quite another to flash an incompatible Bootloader.

What, if any, are the advantages to upgrading to EVO_HBoot_2.10.0001?
Are there and Cons? Risks? Prerequisits?

I am on
Build 3.70.651.1
Bootloader 0.97
Hardware Version 002
Amon_RA 1.8 Recovery
Azreal 3.0 Rom
SBC-net-4.2.2-non-havs-v7 kernel

Thanks

HUH, not radio, the hboot. I think you have your numbers mixed up Kasey there is no Hboot 2.15 yet.

Re: Updating from HBoot .97 to 2.10

You're confusing the radio version with hboot...i just came from Xda and only see hboot 2.10. There isn't a real advantage with the new hboot, i have it, and i lost everything updating lol Like someone mentioned earlier, it makes it harder to root.

I'm not sure of the answer, but in general, I tend to agree. I have seen many people screw up their rooting and other things because they have some OCD in wanting the biggest number in every category. And I'm serious about the OCD thing, they usually have no other reason to change a thing.

That ain't me. I just wanted to know if there was something better in it. The more I think about it, the more I realize that it is only a maintenance shell. It would have no effect on phone performance.
