Update to FroYo 3.70.651.1???
hey this might be a noobish question, but i wanna update my phone to FroYo 3.70.651.1 without downloading a new rom (i am rooted) is there a way to do this without getting a new rom? and if so where can i find it? i searched but all i can find are roms with the 3.70. im guessing i can just download 3.70 and flash it but not for sure and i cant find it to download it.

No, you can not. Why don't you want to update your ROM? Most chefs by now have already updated their ROMs to include this update. I can't imagine why there wouldn't be an updated version of the current ROM you are using.

im fine for downloading a new rom (i love omj's roms) but my girlfriend will lose her mind if she has to start angry birds all over again!!!

Why not use titanium backup and back it up then? You should backup your data anyway.

Ok so I am new to titanium backup, how exactly do you do it? I downloaded it but when I flash a Rom all my apps are gone. Sorry I'm a noob but if someone could explain exactly how to do it I would appreciate it.

Just install it and it is pretty obvious. It is menu driven and not hard to use. Of course, you have to be rooted.
