Re: New Kernel/Superior Battery Life

All Roms and kernels come with disclaimers, as they should. Having said that, I have an SBC on my phone and my daughters. She is also running Juice Defender. Since she has the stock battery, she truly benefits from the improved performance. I have the 3500 LiPo so I don't need the extra trons and rarely have to scramble for the nearest charger.

Use some sense. Note the number of people who are running the kernels and the number of complaints. Remember, there is more than one reason for a person to state a problem. Use common sense as uncommon as that is.

Re: New Kernel/Superior Battery Life

Hey guy's it seems that I forgot how to flash a zip! I did manage to flash one of these amazing kernel's from the stock one. But now its time to test drive another one and I went ahead and repeated the same process and I can't get it to stick?... Can someone please advise? Thank you...

Download zip to root of sdcard
reboot recovery
wipe: Dalvik-cache and cache
flash zip from sdcard
*derp-kernel-herpderp*.zip
*wait wait wait*
reboot.

EXACTLY! Thats what I have been doing and I thought I was testing other kernels. But infact I have been stuck on the first kernel I flashed. any ideas?

Edit: Ok I need to keep taking my medication! So I was flashing the kernels ok. It was this one I had that for some reason would not let me flash over to one that was almost the same. If that makes any sense? Any who, I went and tried another and checked again and it was flashed. Thanks again.

Re: New Kernel/Superior Battery Life

I flashed back to htc kernal #15 v7 and it fixed my camera issues. but 4g still seemed to act slower. I'm sure its all in my head. Ill play with it more today.

~offtopic

I am playing with the app juice defender and so far its amazing. Will most likely end up purchasing the full ver.
