Anyway, it seems like each evo has its own personality so what may work great for me may not work as well for you even though we may both be using the same exact rom. So to answer your question from the previous page just flash a sense kernel and test drive it for a few days and see how it works out for you.

Nope no tantrum... Just being playfull... I agree with you about its own personality thing. I was just trying to narrow my options down. I have tried a few but still not sure of wich one works the best for me and was hoping to hear what any one was using on an OEM rom...

Yup, It is hard to belive I got no help!.. Cause all I get here is help! All I need to do is read a thread and I am already being helped. I am 100% sure my question was not missed on purpose... I just wanted to rattle the cage here a little...... Thanx guys...

Re: New Kernel/Superior Battery Life

This SBC 4.1.9.1 v7 kernel is giving me pretty much the best battery life ive had since ive had this phone. And no lag, no problems, no setcpu no juice defender or any of that bs. And on top of that I have my mobile data ON, email set to push, twitter updating every 10 minutes, facebook every hour, yahoo messenger, moco space, gtalk, bloo to every 10 min, fring, miumeet, tango, and weatherbug elite ALL running in the background. About a 15 min phone call and about 25 google voice texts.. off the charger at 6 am.. its 12:49 pm now and im at 80%. I think the fact that these kernels dont lose that first 10-15% as soon as you unplug if you charge overnight makes all the difference. Sat on 99% what seemed like forever.

Did you wipe the cache and dalvik cache before flashing? If not then reflash the stock kernel, wiped the cache and dalvik first, Then reflash the Netarchy kernel once again after clearing the cache and dalvik cache.

I cleared both twice before I installed the new kernal. But I did not reboot after clearing both. I just installed the new Kernal. I figured if I allowed it to boot back up first I would have to clear them again. But I'm not sure I used the correct one.,

Re: New Kernel/Superior Battery Life

I got it to install again this time. But how do I know it working? My battery was at 40% when I installed. So I cleared Battery Stats too and then installed this. Now I'm charging to get it to 100%. Hope this works.

Re: New Kernel/Superior Battery Life

You looking at amps. What you want are volts. You should top out around 4.2 volts
