you have to use a kernel thats made for *sense roms and not *aosp rom.
its plenty of sense kernels on xda/evo forum. hope this brief info helps.

WTF? Damn, so you're gonna have a tantrum because no one is waiting on you on all fours to answer your questions? I mean seriously, Do you really have to act like that? Anyway, it seems like each evo has its own personality so what may work great for me may not work as well for you even though we may both be using the same exact rom. So to answer your question from the previous page just flash a sense kernel and test drive it for a few days and see how it works out for you.

I tried this one (SBC for Netarchy's 4.2.2 More Aggressive CFS) and it screwed my phone up. It made all the colors go crazy and the screen looked like a tv with the picture tube going up. WHich one should I use for a Stock, Deodex, Rooted Rom?
