I do remember when I first flashed this kernel I forgot to wipe the cache and dalvik cache before flashing and did notice that the phone was laggy and the scrolling was atrocious. I then flashed the stock kernel, wiped the cache and dalvik first, reflashed the Netarchy kernel and all has been well ever since. That could be one cause. Are you overclocking? If so that could be the cause of it. What EVO hardware build do you have? That too could be the problem. I have an 0003.

Go with the less aggressive and your screen tears will stop

I have been off the charger since 5am and I JUST hit 65% at 8:36pm whereas on the stock kernel I would've been around the 40% mark right now. This kernel is unmatched.
I cant get any of them to work with the azrael 3.0. wonder what the difference is? i have tried them all, done eveything(wipe cache, fresh flash), even flashed an older version of azrael. What should i do?

Anyway, it seems like each evo has its own personality so what may work great for me may not work as well for you even though we may both be using the same exact rom. So to answer your question from the previous page just flash a sense kernel and test drive it for a few days and see how it works out for you.

Nope no tantrum... Just being playfull... I agree with you about its own personality thing. I was just trying to narrow my options down. I have tried a few but still not sure of wich one works the best for me and was hoping to hear what any one was using on an OEM rom...

Yup, It is hard to belive I got no help!.. Cause all I get here is help! All I need to do is read a thread and I am already being helped. I am 100% sure my question was not missed on purpose... I just wanted to rattle the cage here a little...... Thanx guys...

Did you wipe the cache and dalvik cache before flashing? If not then reflash the stock kernel, wiped the cache and dalvik first, Then reflash the Netarchy kernel once again after clearing the cache and dalvik cache.

The first option would be to find the stock kernel. Wipe the cache and dalvik cache first and then flash the stock kernel. Let the phone boot up completely and just use it to make sure everything is working the way it should. Once you are satisfied, reboot back into recovery, wipe the cache and dalvik cache again, then reflash the Netarchy kernel. Reboot the system and this should fix any issues you were having before.

If option one doesn't work, then I say start over. That means do a nandroid backup, use my backup pro(or Titanium) to save your settings, wipe the data, cache, dalvik cache, reflash Azrael and let it boot up completely. Then restore your settings via my backup pro( or Titanium) and make sure you are good with the setup you have. Reboot back into recovery, wipe the cache and dalvik cache first, flash the Netarchy kernel and reboot the phone. If this doesn't work it just wasn't meant to be.

The problem I ran into originally was I flashed the kernel and forgot to wipe the cache and dalvik cache first. I started over and now my phone is amazing and the battery life is better than ever. I can go 10-12 hours with moderate use and still be at 60%.
