Rooted, but skipped instruction 7.13. Problem?

Hello I just got my EVO last night and am transitioning from my TP2,

I just Rooted my Evo 2.02 using post 3 of http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/htc-evo-4g...ml#post2005904

I could not do part 7.13)

Ok your phone is rooted now, and you should be inside the rom. The rom you just flashed is Sprint Lovers 12/05/10 build rom with the modified recovery. Download a rom of your choice copy it to the root of your sd card and flash it. But type the following first

adb shell busybox --install /sbin
adb shell nohup /sbin/recovery &

Are there any effects to this?
