Just fyi, they roll these updates out incrementally so they don't rape their own network. It's coming. Just wait or flash it manually.

why wouild i want this update with a bunch of sprint crap that i dont use? well, my question is, will i need this update to install gingerbread or is it too early to ask this?

Updates are usually all inclusive.. so I guess you would not.

Will this undo unrevoked root? Still no official word on if it does or not.

XDA has one that is already rooted.. it's in a previous post on this thread.

My question is if you already rooted with unrevoked will it get rid of root? I want to keep phone rooted with official stock rom.

From what I can tell you will loose Root. however the XDA post above show you how to get root again. But if I were you, I would wait.

I have 003 and I was able to download the update. I have not installed yet and probably won't since I'm currently rooted and waiting for a replacement EVO.

From what I know any OTA will kill root.
