Can you confirm that?

Anyone notice that with this update the battery life is horrible and the phone occasionally hangs/lags?

Man I thought it was just me but my phone has had horrible battery life ever since. I also have the lagging and I also experienced self-rebooting. First time since I first got the phone in June.

Is there a way to switch back?

I'm glad I haven't done update yet. Maybe its time to try the fresh rom on my rooted evo. I heard it's updated to include this new ota update and it gets great battery life.

I haven't experienced self-rebooting yet. But it does seem like since applying the update the phone does tend to lag up at times and the battery performance is horrid. The funny thing is I convinced my friend to get an Evo last week and I told him that I had never experienced any lag with it... till now that is

I will try that because after the update, my battery is horrid.. I am talking about down to 50% after 3 hours bad with extremely light use,

Re: New ota 3.70.651 12-15-10

FWIW, I am still on the initial 2.2 update from summer, and my battery life took a nose dive this week after installing the latest Facebook update that has Chat on it, so I'm attributing the battery issue to that.
