Re: Issue with my Evo

If cricket is so limited why not switch to Sprint and use your phone all over the country and never worry about roaming and enjoy fast data and all the features your phone has.

But if you love Cricket here is a rom for Cricket that might get you what you need.

[ROM] Jiminy v2 (for Cricket) - Hybrid EVO 3.28/Incredible 3.21 w/ g3a8614e kernel - xda-developers
The last time I was at my Parent's house sprint didn't get coverage there, at least not unless you went into roaming, and with cricket I am not tied down to a contract. Thanks for the link to the rom, I have that one downloaded and have tried it as well. I still was unable to ota update my PRL file. This is what makes me think it is a setting in my EPST or something on crickets end. I have went as far as having my account refreshed a few times and so far nothing I have done will get my *228 working.

Re: Issue with my Evo

Aside from the *228 issue I am having I am perfectly happy with Cricket. I really don't want to switch to another carrier. Does ANYONE else have any ideas? I would really like to get this figured out.

Thanks

Re: Issue with my Evo

It sure sounds like you are trying to shoe-horn Sprint into a Cricket.
