If your rooted than just install a rooted rom, like the other poster said, if you want to stay close to stock but with all the goodies added in try the Sprint Lovers rom, Chris adds a lot of goodies but keeps it close to stock. Runs great and leaves you with 240mb free to install alot of your favorite apps.

Mine always gives me the low storage warning as well. BUT, i have 42mb free storage, i really think I'm fine, but the warning is annoying.
