Re: New indicator appearing on screen
Hmmmm.... I thought the circle with the Cross running through it was the GPS. It is the one that goes on and off when I turn my GPS off. Did not know there was an additional GPS icon. Since I run with the GPS on all the time, I figured I would have noticed it before.
Thanks. |

The circle with cross means your location is on. The dish means your GPS is active. |

Re: New indicator appearing on screen
that gps icon pops up when your gps is on, but it is actually doing something. If your location changed for sense weather and it's updating. Also weather bug with follow me package does that. Also if you have google internet set to search based on your location, and you internet is on (even if you pushed home softkey your internet is still on) many apps use your gps location. They will try to use your network to locate you but it is a general location, gps is more accurate. I always leave it on. battery killer though.
