Reboot After Powering off Bluetooth Headset

My Evo reboots when I'm running VLingo and turn off my bluetooth headset. The issue seems to be only with VLingo since I've had this happen with two different ROMs. I'm currently running OMJs EVO 2.2 v.4.0 and the issue happens when using both my bluetooth devices, Plantronics Backbeat 906 and Plantronics Voyager Pro UC. Anyone having a similar issue?

Re: Reboot After Powering off Bluetooth Headset

I've had this happen a few times but I can't remember if it was just when vlingo was running. I'm on stock rom, and have already uninstalled vlingo. That program drove me crazy.

This also happens to me with Vlingo and only Vlingo. I have the Blue Ant Q2. It doesnt do it every time but id say 50% of the time. I really like Vlingo so i hope they fix this.

Re: Reboot After Powering off Bluetooth Headset

I get frustrated with Vlingo at times too but for the most part it's great to use for texting while driving since I never have to touch my EVO.

Re: Reboot After Powering off Bluetooth Headset

That's what I planned on using it for too. Last time I used it...

What I said: "I just listened to it and I think he speaks for a lot of people"
What Vlingo heard: "Just listen to it I think you smell funny people"

I couldn't get the accuracy down.

Re: Reboot After Powering off Bluetooth Headset

Just FYI, this is a known and documented bug with Vlingo on HTC devices. I believe it's even documented in their market page.

Re: Reboot After Powering off Bluetooth Headset

I had that same issue. I found that if I turned 'listen over bluetooth' off in the advanced settings, I could disconnect BT without the phone rebooting. It didn't seem like it listened through my Moto H680 anyhow, so now I just leave it off and use the phone's mic. Hopefuly they'll get it fixed soon.
