Contacts synce issue.

I am having an issue with syncing a phone to Outlook 2007 at work. We are currently "trying" to use the HTC Sync software, but since it sucks so much, well, it just doesn't work. She has ~2000 contacts. When it syncs I get a General error 1 and a timeout. Are there any other programs that I can use to sync her contacts to the phone?

Re: Contacts synce issue.

Maybe contacts are not sync because of notes. Maybe try trail of CompanionLink

Re: Contacts synce issue.

I have windows 7 with office 2010 on my computer. I was not too happy when HTC told me that htc sync dosent work with outlook 2010. I now use Android Manager wifi which I found on the Market , it syncs everything except my outlook calander (which I never use) I am very satisfied with this application.

Re: Contacts synce issue.

Export the contacts in outlook, then iimport them on your gmail. then sync gmail much easier.

HTC Sync may not support Outlook 2010 but the syncing works like a champ. In the settings of the software, specify what specific folder needs to sync with Calendar and Contacts. I think that the directories for the different versions of Outlook are a little different and the default settings of HTC Sync try to pull the information elsewhere. Anyway, it works fine.
