voice mail mand. update

this popped up randomly one day, i am rooted and i clicked on the update and it took me to voice mail and that was all that happend. how ever the icon is still there that says update and i cant figure out how to get rid of it.

any help would be appreciated! thanks

not sure what you are talking about but Sprint just came out with a VoiceMail to Text 30 day promotional. It showed up about a week ago on my phone and I had to agree to it.

agree to the update, not to use the mail to text app. I just keep ignoring it when it shows the trial. It is annoying though, just take me to voice-mail, if I want to pay for the mail to text thing I would have signed up already.

I get this after flashing certain roms, quite annoying I dont want their stupid voice to text bullroar.

ya, google voice/talk is free and we can set up our phone to have google handle our voicemail and google does voice to text for free. why would we pay for it?

I almost agreed to buy the Sprint one (whew) glad I read this! How do you set up Google voice to do voice to text?

You'll have to search threads here. has to do with forwarding your un-answered calls to google voice and then google voice conversts to text and sends to your phone.
