Im don't know why they haven't been around more, I dont work for Sprint maybe you should call and ask them, but Im not the only one to get it from Sprint. IMO they are made with better quality and I haven't had near as many problems with cracking as I did with the regular one.

This IS news to me and very shocking. I have a white Evo that I bought right after release. My girlfriend wanted a white one too, but last weekend Sprint and Best Buy both told me that they were discontinued for now and may be re-released teh first of the year. So now she has a black Evo...but...I will be on the phone with Sprint, Radio Shack and Best Buy tommorow to see what they have to say about the white Evo's now being available...

sprint telesales definitely has white evo's in-stock.. I talked to them last night to get an evo for my brother and asked jokingly if they had the white ones and the lady said they do have some in stock for a limited time.

Walmart has them, atleast via Walmart.com they do... $149.99 on contract or upgrade right now.. plus giving $100 gift card with smartphone purchase.. makes EVO $50... best deal on the planet right now

my wife got one, just wanted to add that the $149.99 price is for new customers only, it's $199.99 for renewals but you still get the gift card.
