No Network Connection

OK, this has got to be somewhere in this forum, but I just can't find it. Sorry if I'm asking for information that's already posted.

I'm trying to use wireless tether. I rooted using unrevoked 3. I downloaded free wireless tether 2.0.2-pre14. Wireless tether fires up just fine. My computer sees it and says "connected." However, even though I am connected to the EVO, I get "no network connection" or "no internet access" errors. I can access the internet just fine on my phone; just not from my computer.

What can I possibly be missing?
