help with changing years

Is there a way to change the years on evo where it wont change back automaticly????

In Settings, Time and Date, there should be a way to uncheck auto time sync with network. Then manually set the data and time.

I cant find anything to uncheck I need to change the year to 2011 for about 30 min but the phone wont let me it automaticly changes back in seconds. Thanks and yes it is an evo
