Free WIFI tether HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!

I read in a thread that you dont have to be rooted to be able to get free WIFI tethering hotspot. Is that true? If so how is that done?

Root you phone using Unrevoked 3.21 its a one step process then choose custom rom that has wireless router app in rom. I use OMJ 3.8x

ive tried to root my phone but cant im trying to do it with out conecting to pc. The reason being is i dont have internet at my home computer.

well you need a pc to root.. and you need to d'l the free wifi tether app.. google "free google wifi tether"

maybe you can d'l the files you need to your phone, then put them on your computer?

On your phone go to unrevoked.com click on the evo and download what you need.

Yea, do the one step root by Unrevoked.com and then go on the market and search for "wireless tether" download the app that has a green signal bar.

Even after you download the Wif Tether, go to their support page and download the latest version for Evo, I had to do that to get the app working.

Ive downloaded the unrevoked but i was wondering which one do i download the linux, windows , or mac. what program do i need to open it on my phone cause it says there no file or cant open.

Download the Linux one
