Google Calendar sync question

This is kind of an odd problem I'm having...

I went to gmail and clicked on calendar I added the Los Angeles Lakers schedule to my google calendar as a subscription. The problem I am having is that it is not being added to my Htc Evo. I also have us holidays as a subscription and it syncs to my Evo with no problem. I tried adding other random stuff (manually) to the calendar and within seconds they appear on my calendar on my evo but for some strange reason the Laker schedule wornt sync. Just for the heck of it i also tried to sync the miami heat schedule it wont do it either. Can someone help? What am I doing wrong?

I use the HTC Calendar and use account sync in settings when I want to sycn contacts and calendar and works great for me then I unckeck the accont settings sync to save battery.

problem solved....
I went to lakers.com downloaded the google calendar formated sched. and imported to google cal and it synced instantly to my evo.
