anyone use this to accomplish wifi tether without doing a full root? i have stock evo and am not going to root it but i came across this option and am wondering if it works like it says on the EVO.

never heard of it but I see it in the market.....have u tried pdanet?

*edit* looks like this is for temproot on the g2, desire & mytouch...

Dont waste your time... I tried it and it stayed stuck on applying temporary root for 20 minutes, then froze my phone when I went to the home screen. After a reboot things were skipping and my SD card would stay in read only.
