not for nothing here, but why is Cyanogen able to link over here? honestly, i don't want to be a member of his site just to download a rom that's been advertised on ppcg.

1) yeah, it is actually.

2) you're missing what i'm saying anyway (i don't explain myself very well, sir... so the blame is on me). the mods here had issues with folks from other sites posting their rom links here, giving no support, and us having to go to their site and having to join to get the download. this has been an issue for some time.

Okay I see what you mean..

I would agree with you on that but the only problem is it would be difficult for them to keep track of every single post on every forum it was published on.

and one more thing, then i'll stop hijacking this thread. honestly, i don't want to be a member of dozens of sites just to download roms. it makes no sense. i like the idea that if a rom is advertises here, then post a direct link here. otherwise, don't advertise it here.

in this particular case, i'm not certain that Cyanogen even is a member here. i know others have posted links to his rom because it's a really good rom. so while in my little pea-brain mind, it's different from the old indagroove situation. i still don't like having to be a member at his site just to get his download.

if there's another way to get it. can someone please let me know?
