Esn question

ok i cant find any answer for this but does a lost phone makes the esn bad ?
or just the stolen ones?

if you report it lost they'll black list the esn
so it cant be activated through sprint..

with assurion i dont know if them a sprint share info i would call and ask ... but i would think they tell sprint to prevent fraud

Yes, Assurion notifies Sprint. The esn is black listed when you file a claim.

Look this conversation needs to just stop. If the phone is reported lost or stolen the esn will be reported as bad, period. Obviously the reason for that would be to prevent fraud like someone else said. Now I am not trying to judge you but it seems like you really didn't lose the phone you just reported it lost so you can get a new phone and still get the other one activated and if thats the case then its people like you that makes it bad for everyone else that have real problems. Thats why we now pay a $100 deductable vs $50 from a few years ago.

there is no way to activate a sprint phone with a bad esn at sprint
the only option is to try to active threw metro pcs

NOPE NOPE NPE it wasnt me it was a frind of mine he lost it he couldnt find it for about 3 days he claimd it via assurion he got the new one then like a week ago hes friend has it on his house how who knows. so thats why the question nobody wants to try to claim somethng that didnt happens..

hey soory for say that u wrong.. but he give that phone well he sell it to his friend. he calld sprint n the representavite activate it with out say anythng aboiut the phone i guess the esn was good or who knws.
