i know that you can set a ringtone for each person but is there a way to have more than one ringtone and have them alternate

Have like 2 or 3 ringtones per contact and have them change-up each time they call? No, sorry. You can have 1 ringtone and 1 notification (text msg, etc) per contact. There might be a custom rom (if you rooted) or app in the market that will let you do this but I don't think so.

who wants a diferent ringtone on the same contact. how r u gonna knw whis calling u txting u etc if u have different ringtones ,, i dnt get it.. diferent ringtone to diferent contact that good.
