Need help syncing Contacts

Ok here is what I'm trying to do.

I have my normal contact list (basically names, phone #s) 90% of my phone contact list is also on facebook, so I linked those so I have all the information (birthday, emails etc).

Now I want to sync all this data to outlook (to keep as a master database).

I tried using HTC sync but some how it basically just deleted all my contacts instead and only left my facebook contacts on my phone.

I restored them, so I'm back to the start now.

So my question is how do I basically get all my contacts (email, birthday etc) that my phone pulled from facebook over to my Outlook contacts without it deleting everything.

Move everything to gmail and Google sync.

Well I can try that, but it doesn't export pictures and such too.

There are settings in HTC Sync to keep the data on either the phone or the PC and to sync it to the other one, but it has screwed up on me a couple times too.
