Wifi doesnt work

Hey guys,

I'm running OMJ 3.5 on my EVO and the fails to work. If I click the button for wifi, it just says "error".

I've googled for solutions to this, but I didn't find anything conclusive.

Any help?

Does the error immediately come up when you enable Wi-Fi? If you go under Menu, Settings, Wireless & Networks, are you able to change any of the Wi-Fi settings?

When I go to that screen, it has Wifi with error written underneath it, and the network notification and add wifi network options grayed out

I am running this rom as well and I haven't had any issues at all. Have you made any kind of tweaks other than just flashing the rom? If not I say just reflash the rom and see if the issue goes away.

Agreed. I'm running the same ROM and haven't had any issues. Be sure to flash your cache and Dalvik-cache before you reflash the ROM and you should be good to go.

I had a weird charging light issue at one time where the orange light would stay on when I removed the charging cable. Somebody recommended to reflash the ROM and it resolved the issue.

After the last upgrade, I was not able to reconnect with myt WiFi. It turned out that that release could not talk to 11g. When I found an 11n site, I was good to go.
