Best way to use Google Voice for Sprint Pick 3

I downloaded the Google Voice app and I noticed when it makes outgoing calls, it's calling some other number and not my GV number to make the connection. I have Pick 3 which allows me to make unlimited calls to any 3 number, one of which is my GV.

Has anyone found a good work-around for this?

I thought Google voice is like skype - it is using your data connection to make a call and not actually dialing anything really usng your sprint minutes.

On my TP2, I had a program that actually dialed my GV number and from within that call, it could forward that call to any U.S. number for free. The program could also use a data connection to communicate to GV's servers and have GV call my phone and then automatically transfer me to the number that I am trying to call.

In short, GV isn't like Skype and doesn't actually use VOIP....

I had the same problem use GVoice Callback it actually uses your Google voice # to dial out. Works just like Google voice when dialing out. You can find download the within marketplace.

Which GV app are you using? I like the idialer/icontact app. You dial a number or select one from the contact list and it then connects to your GV account via internet. GV then makes a call back to the number you setup on the account. When you answer it it then connect you to the desired number thus making it an incoming call.

data is used to initiate the call, minutes are used. How they're billed depends on your plan.

+1 on GVoice Callback .

It actually connects to GV using data, then you get a call from your GV number that connects you to the number you are trying to call.
