Evo Loading a lot of stuff into Memory?

So I downloaded Advanced Task Killer, and after I reboot there is a least 16 items listed as running (including camera, Sprint Nav, Music, camera, facebook etc).

Maybe I just don't understand the Android OS but should all these items be loaded even when I'm not even going to be using them? I list about 100m of available memory, and if I close 90% of them I'm at 217m.

Thats how android os is, so don't stress yourself to much about it. I have had my phone down to about 45mb of memory and it was just as responsive.

I used that app before and in my opinion it doesn't really work as it should.

You know they changed the "kill" command to perform the "restart" function, right? Also, they did that specifically to break task killer functionality because it harms OS performance. You are essentially burning CPU and battery by using a task killer because you are needlessly restarting apps on a regular basis.
