Handcent is SLuggish on my evo now only...

Only will scrolling down, scrolling up is fine and stock works perfect but I hate it, Idk wut it is, it seems like after the last update handcent is stupid slow scrolling down but if I use a custom kernel and oc it to like 1.3 it runs fine...can someone help, and I put it in this section cuz I think it's just the evo, one the moment intercept and epic I tested it's running fine....

i have no idea but not that many, it should matter tho cuz the stock works fine, this use to work fine...

I get lag too....when I have over 1000 or so on stock. Handcent always lagged for me and is a memory hog.
The lag may be a bug in the new version. wasn't it just updated?

And maybe there is some backround syncing going on every time you want to use the app

use chompsms… it is pretty much the same and doesn't lag...
