Well I was gonna say if you had anything older than 2.15.00.07.28, the usb cable you use makes a difference. But since you are actually on x.28, the cable shouldn't make a difference.

You could unplug your phone and install a full HTC Sync w/driver and see if the PC picks up your phone.

Also try another USB port.

But it looks like your Phone isn't picking up your PC either.

I am inclined to suggest your phone's USB port may be bad.

Is the phone rooted or running anything other than stock?

well is there any known issue of the USB port on the phone going bad? if so, Im going to call a sprint store and get it replaces today....

guy says he used his palm pre cable and it worked. the palm pre cable I have from my Wife's phone DIDNT....

The one FIX listed says you have to be ROOTED and I cant do that since I cant connect USB

After spending 2+ hours on the phone with various sprint people, they feel it MIGHT be the cable but could be the phone. Im now driving 30+ minutes to the sprint store to see...
