Hmm... when I selected "Sync music files from iTunes and Windows Media Player" and selected All song and Playlists, it only synced the playlists...

You might want to be sure you have the latest XML parser. I think the last is msxml 6.10.1129.0 Might work.

A reboot took care of it. I forgot I did Windows updates before installing this and didn't restart.

Re: HTC Sync 3.0.5422 on Evo

I got this to work! It didn't work at first. I got the Adobe Air fail. But I downloaded it directly to my cell from Market app. I selected to sync everything and it only did my contacts. Then I selected it to only sync my calendar & it worked! This is great because I didn't want to use the google calendar. Who wants all their personal info online? Now if only Pocket Informant would put out a good calendar. The android calendar is sadly lacking...

Re: HTC Sync 3.0.5422 on Evo

For some reason it reverts my contacts from Outlook. Like it it puts the last name first then and first name last. For example when I synced my contacts on my TP2 with ActiveSync, it would would the name as Rick Star. When I synced my contacts to my Evo using HTC Sync, it reverts the names as Star Rick. Any fix to this?

The website states This update is not intended for use by North American customers

so are we stuck with 2.0?

Re: HTC Sync 3.0.5422 on Evo

That was my point ... it says it's not intended for North American customers, but it works much better than the older version. I have to keep my calendar and contacts updated through Outlook and hated having to reboot just to get it to sync before it would find the software on the PC.

As for the 'first name last name', that is a pain. ActiveSync and TP2 would sort by last name. Android sorts by first name. It was something to get used to with the switch. I'm over it now. I still wish we could sync notes without having to buy additional software, but I found a way around that using EverNote. I do like the way 3.0 version pulls the photos off the phone to the PC. That's handy to have a back up of any pictures I've taken.
