noob rooting question… sorry I'm confused...

Ok so I downloaded the unrevoked for mac (because I have a mac) from this website… unrevoked3 recovery reflash tool, v3.21... I ran the dmg file and it says plug my phone in, set the debugging box and then I'm off and running…

Here is the question, by doing this, will it completely root my phone? And then will I be able to flash roms, customize, etc.??? Sorry for the questions I'm really really new to this…

I am on a stock 2.2 with the new ota update...

Yes and no. I never did unrevoked but me along with most of the forum will assure you that the instructions in the how-to sticky will give you total control

Sent from my fast as hell phone that you can only wish you had

Boot into bootloader...(power plus volume down with phone off) and at the top of bootloader screen it should say Supersonic EVT 2-3 Eng S-OFF

If it says that then you are fully rooted.
