Anyone using the MIUI rom?

Just flashed this rom yesterday, and it's been fun to use. It's not 100% complete. 4G doesn't work, mms receive doesn't work (you can send), no front camera, and no HDMI. The rear camera can only do 5MP at this point, and I set the video camera to 720p, and now it force closes every time I try to access it. I don't use the video camera anyway, so it's no real loss for me. But, aside from those issues, it's rather stable. I haven't had any FCs, or app crashes yet.

This is the rom that was supposed to be the iOS port on the MyTouch 3G.

Check the thread below for download links, and screenshots.

[ROM] MIUI_EVO-v1.21 super-fast (bt audio works) more stable - xda-developers

Re: Anyone using the MIUI rom?

Yeah I used it for almost 2 days but I can't use it for an everyday ROM. There is no bluetooth phone audio support and I use my earpiece all the time in the car. So as much as I like it, it's a no go for me. Was pretty stable and very different though.

Re: Anyone using the MIUI rom?

If anyone is interested this ROM is up and running. Extremely stable and could be an every day ROM. I am still choosing to hold off a bit....where I work my phone is constantly roaming and this ROM CHOMP COMP CHOMPed my battery. However, it's an AWESOME ROM. It's not sense, so I can't really compare it to most of the other ROMS that are available. If I had one ROM I could go with and stick with, it would be the MIUI rom that's available over at XDA [ROM] (11/19) MIUI_EVO v0.11.19 n1 based stable!!! - xda-developers

Give it a shot. Also, I noticed MrDSL has been theming for this and he has a theme that is similiar to the iPhone 4 (if you're into that)

Re: Anyone using the MIUI rom?

MIUI 1.29 is the best rom!!!! I love it, is the only one that works 100 % , Where I live I don't have 4g and I think I never going to see it so 4g is not a problem, and hdmi I don't use it!

Re: Anyone using the MIUI rom?

I actually really liked this ROM... very responsive, front camera has been fixed, ultra smooth and boots very fast.......

Only 2 problems that caused me to go back to a sense based ROM.............

1.) Most (almost all) alarm apps FC constantly.
2.) You cannot NAND backup the ROM (It does come with a backup/restore program, but I couldn't get it to work.)

But in reality it is probably a solid 8.0-8.5/10 IMO
