Re: Camera improvements?
No, not yet. Camera sucks/useless in low light situations. I think the software is to blame.
As an amateur photographer, I am simply amazed when I read people saying how good the camera is. High Megapixels <> Good camera. The only shows I find usable are ones outside during the day. Anything in low light is too noisy, shutter speeds are too slow, or they are horribly overexposed.

Re: Camera improvements?
What people dont understand is that its a phone not a camera. The Iphone has less mps but a way better sensor....
Anyway, Vignette minimizes the image noise and has more adjustments. It makes things bearable. But generally as you said, the more light the better |

Re: Camera improvements?
phones get better, and the cameras suck more and more. I had a nokia 6275i media phone and press the shutter, took instant pic. I could stand on side of road and click at cars passing by @ 45 or more and be able to read the markings on the tread wall of tire. 2mp cam. and with my 8mp super smartphone, if your object blinks when you click shutter 10 seconds later when it actually snaps the pic, the face is blurry.
Pic below is me on a boat doing 50mph going other direction of the jetski's using that old nokia. I would like to see some better software on the current devices that can match this 2mp shot.

Re: Camera improvements?
So sensors 5 yrs ago are better than todays? Even the helio had super fast cam that shot exilent pics. Going from a nokia to htc titan is when i noticed the cam diff and it has gone downhill from there. Really if the n series devices ran android and nokia still made cdma devices, then sprint would have a really kick ass phone.
