I do have an account there (for a couple of years now), otherwise I couldn't have downloaded the apk. I read there and I read here, mostly here though as this was my first PPC geekdom site I joined and they are like family. Also, I searched with multiple phrases on here pertaining to the light notifications before I posted anything....learned my lesson a while back! But thanks for the heads up and I know your just trying to help and it's appreciated!!

This is cool, though the green light works just fine for me, it'll be interesting to see if it can be activated for other messages like email or twitter updates. I too didn't know there was another light and I've used 4G mad times so maybe they disabled it for that function cuz it'd probably be extra annoying.

Yeah, they said gmail, calls, and etc. will be added in future updates. I hope so cause this gives you more options.

I know this is a stupid question but did you follow the directions on the goodandevo site?

Put the apk file on your sd card and use appinstaller to install it. Then configure Wimax app to whatever color and rate you want then select test and exit. Worked for me and I'm not rooted.
