Change auto dim tolerances?

In the dark, auto dim is still way too bright. I want it to ne as bright as the low setting on manual. Is there a way to change this and the sensitivity? I would also like it to adjust more frequently and be more accurate.

Add the power control widget on one of your pages. It has the brightness control that you probably are looking for. As for in the dark; the phone will go to the brightest setting cause the sensor by the camera thinks there is no ambient light source.

Thanks but I already have that. I want it to work automatically. The dimmest on auto is brighter than the dimmest on the power widget

I'm looking as well, every night i have to turn auto off, then in the morning its not bright enough for me to even see to turn it back on, really anoying

same here, I want to set it and forget it. There has to be optimized settings for this
