Is there any way to flash the PRI 1.40 update?

I have tried EVERY POSSIBLE way to update the PRI and I haven't had any luck, is there any way I can flash the update?

install htc sync to computer then DL file below and run from puter

Believe that will unroot though unless he has the unrevoked 3.21 forever root.

Oops...sorry, missed that. Thats ultimately what I did after zillions of normal attempts to get PRI 1.40 Just bit the bullet, unrooted, then did the unrevoked forever 3.21 All is well now but disappointed with no big speed improvement...waiting on the next big thing

Wouldn't a nand backup > flash > restore give you both the PRI update and no loss of root?

There was mention on the original PRI update thread that this should work as nand doesn't tinker with the partition that the PRI is on.

Unlock the root to -off than flash the stock ruu than flash clockwork and superuser like my sig explains
