Have any changes been made to the EVO?

I have an EVO I got the day that they came out and love it. I am getting a new one on my account to give to my brother. Have there been any changes since then? Should I keep the new one and give him my old one? Thanks in advance everyone.

Hell, when you get the new one just check out the build quality and if its better than the one you already got then give him the old one.

I agree. Keep the new, off with the old. Sorta like rutting, or is that rooting?

Re: Have any changes been made to the EVO?

New ones, 003, have a black back instead of dark grey and have an epson screen (which some say is worse). The 4 buttons at the bottom are twice as bright as the 002 models (on my dad's anyways). I put my dad on my plan and got him the EVO and kicking my self in the shin for not trading phones....

Re: Have any changes been made to the EVO?

Changes since release -----

- fixed screen lifting
- battery door flush
- overall build quality
- samsung memory card instead of sandisk
- screens
- light leakage gone
- battery door finish is different

This list goes on but a lot of them have been due to customers letting HTC/Sprint know of the issues. I personally like the changes...some people may not but I'm one just happy to have a Evo.

Not necessarily true, my hardware version 003 has the dark grey silvery back (which I personally like more than the plain black back).

Re: Have any changes been made to the EVO?

If nothing is wrong with your phone, i suggest you keep it. What if your brothers is from some effed up batch? You don't wanna end up in the neverending refurb loop.
