i personally prefer to root my own ROMs. it has become very easy since unrevoked forever (and now unrevoked 3.21 RC) has been released.

i do appreciate all the hard work that is done by members of the android community, but unless you root a rom yourself you dont have control over what is added or subtracted.

Oh, here we go again. A leaked RUU. Will the OTA see it and not load on top of it.

This is not a leaked RUU(3.28.651.1) and is not the one Fresh is using. This is the same as the Froyo OTA release except it was ripped from a new phone that had the 1.71 PRI. It was probably a hope that someone could get the PRI to update or extract it from the ROM. So far no one has been successful extracting the 1.71 PRI and updating their PRI on their phone. It seems to be the same problem that people that were on 1.34 updating to 1.4.
