Re: anyway to increase framerate on stock rom?
Wrong section to post your question but in any case are you rooted or fully stock, if you are not rooted obviously you won't be able to but if you are you can flash whatever kernel that will allow you to get higher fps's.

i'm fully rooted. sorry i'm a noob when it comes to my evo. can i flash a custom kernal and still keep my stock rom? the reason i ask is because i had the hero and flashing custom roms eventually made it completely un-usable. |

Re: anyway to increase framerate on stock rom?
Well right now I am running omj's latest rom which has kinglick#6 kernel and its the best my phone has ran so far since I got it. Now don't get me wrong there are countless other factors that contributes to the smoothness of the phone but right now I have absolutely no complaints. And thats another thing, when it comes to all this custom stuff you can ask 5 different people the same question and get 5 totally different responeses so for the most part I say just flash a few different ones and give each of them a test drive for a day or two and see which one works the best in your case.

Re: anyway to increase framerate on stock rom?
I once drove accross a barron stretch of South Dakota, in the 1970's, during the AIM (American Indian Movement - remember Dennis Banks, Russel Means, and Leonard Peltier? - if not, look it up) uprising, at over 120mph for 40+ miles at a time between towns, so messed up that my brain could only process about 1 frame per second, and I managed to keep it between the ditches, even out by Eagle Butte SD when the Indians chased me firing buckshot at over 120mph for about 20 miles until their car blew up.
I just don't see the need for so many frames per second. Talk about altered reality. Maybe you all should try poker. |
