Wireless N & Froyo

Hi, is wireless N supposed to work on the EVO with the update to Android 2.2? I see such a remark over at XDA Developers but can't seem to get my EVO to see my 802.11N signal.

[HOW-TO] Enabling Wireless N on Evo- Android Eclair 2.1 - xda-developers

Re: Wireless N & Froyo

Well first the stock kernel and now the 2.6.32.15-netarchy-toastmod kernel. It must be something with my router. As of right now the only device I have that is N compatible is the EVO, so I can't say for sure it isn't the router. But now that I know for sure that 2.2 fixed the phone, that tells me where to start.

Thanks,

Re: Wireless N & Froyo

Make sure your router outputs N at 2.4GHz. N routers can transmit N at 2.4 GHz or 5HGz (or both) depending on your router. The Evo wifi radio only works at 2.4GHz, so your router must match.
