Friend Stream question

I know the big friend stream kills the battery, but what about the little one (the second htc option)? This one doesn't show any of your friends updates, but it is very easy for you to update as well, so does this kill the battery the same as the big one?

And the same question goes for the twitter widget...

Re: Friend Stream question

Its really NOT the widgets themselves that kill the batteries its just that they kick on the radio to update whatever it needs to...whether its twitter posts or friends' statuses.

If you have root...do try Juicedefender OR use tasker to set up for data be turned OFF while the screen is off...and only comes on once every 15 min to check for updates.
